ART DIRECTION | DESIGN | ILLUSTRATION

This is a large report on the informal organization, the everyday connections between people in workplaces that keep things running smoothly, or don't. I oversaw the concepts, design and illustration of the report, and illustrated and/or designed many of the pieces in it. We played up the "informal" idea in many of the pieces, such as the Table of Contents and the Annotated Employee Handbook below. Other pieces were more straightforward articles, so we focused on making them easy to read and visually appealing, such as the Middle Managers piece I illustrated and designed, and the lovely "Hooked In" piece designed by Kate DiCesare.
