“Where the Wild Things Are”, Dan Shaw, O at Home, Winter 2006
Elaine Wright, an editor at O at Home, found us through the Apartment Therapy contest and asked if they could feature our apartment in the magazine. We said sure, and are thrilled we did it, but it wasn't as easy as the photos make it out to be.
They were shooting for 2 full days, brought in lots of accessories for our apartment we wouldn't really own, provided clothes for us and did hair and makeup, etc. Darko was kind of fed up by the end, but I think the whole piece came out quite well with some great photos, and the writer, Dan Shaw,
did a great job staying true to everything we said but making us sound interesting instead of loony.
